Catherine Brown

Catherine Starling Brown, 97, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024. She was a homemaker and lived her entire life in Valdosta. 

She is survived by seven children: Beth Newcomb, Linda Smith, Susan Pollock, all of Valdosta, Jeff Brown of Lake Park, Ken Brown of Lecanto, Florida, Tim Brown of Valdosta, and Don Brown of Hahira. She is also survived by one sister, Annie Lee Santorelly of New York, one brother, William Starling of Smyrna, Tennessee. She leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Julian Brown and her son Mike Brown. She is also survived by very special friends and caretakers, Annie and David Wilkerson; and other friends and acquaintances too many to mention.
