Carolyn Ingram Teate, 72, of Valdosta died Friday, June 15, 2007 at Lakehaven Nursing home after an extended illness. She was born in Brooks County on November 1, 1934 to the late Eugene L. & Julia Ellenberg Jordan. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife and mother and also worked as a home health care provider. She was blessed with a green thumb and her plants and home landscapes are a testimony to her love of gardening.
Survivors include her husband of eleven years, Archie Teate; son, Terry Ingram of Dothan, AL; daughter and son in law, Trixy and Michael Buckmaster of Jacksonville, FL; step-granddaughter, Britney Buckmaster of Quitman; stepdaughter, Janet Teate; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years, Jack L. Ingram.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Providence United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
