Carolyn Barfield Irby

Carolyn Barfield Irby, 75, of Crestview, Florida and formerly of Valdosta died Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was born on September 16, 1938 in Hahira to the late Vernon Eschol and Corda Louelle Futch Barfield. She was a retired educator and a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Valdosta.

Survivors include two daughters, Misti Anderson of Crestview, Florida and Sandi Senory of Florala, Alabama, two grandsons, Tyler Anderson and Jacob Senory, one sister and brother in law, Mary Ann and Fritz Chapman of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle A. Irby, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Bethany Cemetery in Hahira with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall at Bethany Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the Alzhiemers Association of America, P. O.
