Caroline House Morgan

Caroline House Morgan, 76, of Conyers passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 after an extended illness. Caroline was born on May 8, 1936 in Valdosta to the late J. H. (Skipper) House, Jr. and Sallie Virginia Girardin House Bird. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by a sister, Ginger House Griffin.

Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Tommy O. Morgan, daughter and son in law, Mollie and Bart Roberts, son and daughter in law, Mike and Karen Morgan, grandchildren, Morgan and Shane Corbett, Savannah Roberts, Leif Roberts, Thomas and Sara Morgan, Daniel Morgan and beloved pets, Sadie, J. J. and Riley.

Mrs. Morgan was a member of Conyers First United Methodist Church for 58 years where she was active in the Friendship Sunday School Class. She served as secretary/bookkeeper at Rockdale County High School for many years and was known for her dedication to her work and her encouragement of students. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Rockdale County Retired Educators Association.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00p.m-3:00p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11:30a.m. at the Conyers First United Methodist Church.
