Carole Ann Richards

Carole Ann Richards, 84, of Ray City, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on February 25, 1940, in Camden, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Pearl Hill Pellegrini. Carole was a retired medical legal secretary and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City. Her first passions were her love and relationship with the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-6) and her family. Her other joys in life were gardening and reading as well as creating beautiful quilts, needlework, and doilies that she shared with love. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, especially cherishing time spent with her many grandchildren.

Mrs. Richards is survived by one son and three daughters: Christopher Richards (Victoria) of Sewell, New Jersey, Colleen Richards of Ray City, Cynthia Richards of Ray City, and Charis Pluta of Valdosta. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Gayle Zemaitatis (Tom), Courtney Steuber (Calvin), Elizabeth Richards, Megan Trinkleback, Zachary Wilson, Christopher Richards (Justine). Her great-grandchildren include David Zemaitatis (Courtney), Sophia Zemaitatis, Zane Zemaitatis, Hailey Steuber, and Delaney Steuber, and one great-great-grandchild, Olivia Zemaitatis. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild, Ryan Pluta.
