Carol Myers Condrey, 84, of Ray City, died on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Augusta University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. She was born on July 28, 1932 in Elwood, Kansas to the late Earl and Teresa Hokenhauer Townsend. She was a homemaker and a member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church where she was involved with the Fellowship Sunday School class. Her children and grandchildren were her life and she loved spending time with them. She especially enjoyed looking after and taking care of her youngest grandchild, Brady, and spending all the time she could with her loving four-legged friend, Jinjer.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Amy Myers of Waycross, Georgia, and Pat and Debra Myers of Valdosta; three daughters and a son-in-law, Annqunette Myers of Augusta, Nicole Fender of Valdosta, and Jennifer and Brent Croft of Augusta; grandchildren and their spouses, Ginger and Brandon Brannen, Bert and Mandy Ponder, Zack and Kellie Myers, Garrett Myers, Amber Fender, and Brady Croft; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, V.K. Myers and Robert (Bob) Condrey, and her brother, Charles Townsend.
Services for Carol Myers Condrey will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Park Avenue United Methodist Church with Rev. Craig Rykard officiating. Entombment will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
