Carol Donner Feibush

Carol Donner Feibush, 93, of Hahira, died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born in Rockaway Beach, NY on January 13, 1924 to the late Edward S. and Harriet Lewy Donner. She and her family moved to Florida in 1969 where she was employed as a bookkeeper for Hertz Electronics. She moved to Hahira in 1997 and became a homemaker. Carol was an avid reader and served as LIR President from 2007 – 2009. She was also a member of Reader's Review, Literary Guild of Valdosta, and Hahira Library Readers. Carol always had the heart of a volunteer. She started Brownie and Girl Scout troops in Lynbrook, NY and volunteered at schools. She was also active in civic and religious activities. She attended Temple Israel. She was an avid Braves fan.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Dr. Barry) Braun and Judith Stern; grandchildren, Ricki Stern, Barbra Stern, Edward Braun, Lauren (Gavin) Boonstra, Patrice Braun (Jason) Tyler, and Robert Braun; and great grandchildren, Gabriel Braun, Samuel Tyler, and Rebecca Tyler. She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard Feibush, parents, and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life for Carol Donner Feibush will be held at a later date and time and will be announced by the family.
