Carlos Columbus Harrell, 66, of Daytona Beach, Florida, died on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Valdosta on March 22, 1948, he was the son of the late Ernest Wesley Harrell and Ruby Virginia Harrell. Mr. Harrell was an Army Veteran. Carlos was a "gypsy", he loved to travel and meet people. He enjoyed the activities of a good flea market and was a collector and seller of guns. He dearly loved his family and was a caring, giving and helpful man.
Survivors are his wife, Barbara Harrell of Daytona, Florida; sons and daughters in law, Christopher and Jolynn Harrell, Carlos, Jr. and Terri Harrell of Daytona, Florida; daughter, Christina Harrell of Daytona, Florida; brothers and sisters in law, Bobby and Sherry Harrell of Pensacola, Florida, William and Diane Harrell of Ft. Myers, Florida, sisters and brothers in law, Mary Alice and Donnie of Hahira, Joyce Ann Corbett of Lake Park, Barbara and Doug McCollum of Toccoa; eight grandchildren. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Katherine Clanton.
