Carl Hall, 75 of Valdosta died on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born on August 9, 1933, he was the son of the late Earnest and Lillie Conger Hall. Mr. Hall was a truck driver with Vickers Trucking in Adel. He served in the Army Reserve and attended the Azalea City Church of God.
Survivors are his sons and daughters in law, Carl William and Kim Hall of Valdosta, DeWayne and April Hall of Valdosta, Raymond Hall and fiancee, Kelly of Valdosta; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, brothers and sisters in law, David Hall of Douglas, Lester and Jean Hall of Douglas, Billy and Wanda Hall of Enigma, sisters and brothers in law, Imogene Lister of Valdosta, Ernestine Exum of Nashville, Geneva and Mac Singletary of Valdosta, Martha and Donnie Kirkland of Douglas. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Willmanell Taylor Hall, and a brother, Alvin Hall.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Azalea City Church of God. Rev. Brett Jarriel, Rev. Billy Hall and Rev. Raymond Gabbard will officiate. Burial will follow at Long Bridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday evening at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
