Calvin Michael (Mike) Wellman

Calvin Michael (Mike) Wellman, 51, of Hahira died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on January 29, 1962 in Valdosta. Mike was the head meat cutter at Publix and served in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Hall Wellman of Hahira, beloved pet, Herschal, mother, Barbara McLeod Wellman of Jacksonville, FL, father and stepmother, Calvin and Lynn Nolan of Valdosta, stepfather, Harry Wellman of Palm Coast, FL, sister and brother in law, Lisa and Tom Ruffino of Jacksonville, FL, four brothers and sisters in law, Nicky and Rachel Nolan of Kernersville, NC, Dennis and Pat Nolan of Valdosta, Pete and Tammy Nolan and Kevin and Roz Nolan of Hiram, GA, numerous nieces and nephews, mother in law and father in law, Dot and Terry Hall of Hahira, brothers in law and sisters in law, Andy Hall of Hahira, Lydia Hall and Robert Seither of Clyattville, Adam Hall of Hahira and Penny and Gary Nowell of Lake Park. Mike is preceded in death by his brother, Hank Wellman.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013 at four p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Brian Jarvis officiating. Burial will follow in Dasher Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Valdosta-Lowndes County Humane Society. The family will receive friends from five until seven p. m.
