Bryant Eugene Guthrie

Bryant Eugene Guthrie, 85, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Florida. He was born on September 23, 1934 in Pearson, Georgia to the late Linton and Martha Lee Wilson Guthrie. Mr. Guthrie was retired from South Georgia Medical Center where he worked in the housekeeping department and had attended the Azalea City Church of God. He loved helping others and volunteered for the food bank and with Azalea City. He also loved being outside and working in his yard. He was known for his servant’s heart.
He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Sue Guthrie of Lake Worth, Florida, and Glenn and Judy Guthrie of Cleveland, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Bryant Eugene Guthrie will be held at the Shady Rest Cemetery in Daytona Beach, Florida on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. A private family visitation will be held at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
