Brenda Sue Lehman

Brenda Sue Lehman, 48, of Lake Park, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at her home.

She was born on February 14, 1963 in Dunedin, FL, a daughter of Elizabeth Buchanan Boyd and the late James W. Boyd. She was a graduate of Lowndes High School and retired Secretary of Lehman Brothers Roofing. Brenda was a member of New Seasons Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, loved her grandchildren, who called her "Gran Gran", and enjoyed going to church and playing Sudoku.

In addition to her husband of thirty-one years, John H. Lehman, Sr. of Lake Park, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda L. and Matthew Bennett of Lake Park; two sons and one daughter-in-law, John H. "Jon Jon" Lehman, Jr. of Lake Park, and Kurt W. and Ariel Lehman of Valdosta; seven grandchildren, Layten Corbett, Hagen Bennett, Braylen Bennett, Preston Lehman, Wesley Lehman, Bentley Lehman and Kaden Bennett; her mother, Elizabeth Boyd of Lake Park; four sisters, Debbie Greene of Hickory, NC, Vicki Delk of Valdosta, Gail Kliegl of Cullman, AL, and Kathy Sorrows of Reynolds; her mother-in-law, Pauline Lehman of Lake Park; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and two special friends, Diane Merwin and Barry Newton. She was predeceased by her father, James W. Boyd; her father-in-law, H.B. Lehman; and a nephew, Jason Delk.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lehman will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta, with Sister Deloris McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery, Hahira. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
