Brad Guthrie

Brad Guthrie, 47, of Valdosta died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on March 28, 1963 in Valdosta to the late Herman K. and Mary Jane Brooks Guthrie and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. Brad was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his brother and sister in law, Gary and Susan Guthrie of Powder Springs, GA., niece, Sarah Guthrie, nephew, Branyon Guthrie, aunt, Bernice Merkel, uncle and aunt, Carroll and Jacque Guthrie, cousins, Mike Guthrie, Larry Guthrie, Carol Jean Lawrence and Cara Lee Staples.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, July 31, 2010 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Phil West officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the We Care Ministry at First Baptist Church, 200 W.
