Bonnie Oglesby

Bonnie Oglesby, 82, of Hahira, died at Fellowship Home on Sunday, March 19, 2006. Born on January 3, 1924, in Cook County, she was the daughter of the late Elzie and Minnie McCall Coppage. She had worked as a seamstress with Levi Strauss. Mrs. Oglesby was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a Pink Lady at Memorial Hospital in Adel and she enjoyed her grandchildren.

Survivors are her daughter and son in law, Teressa and Mike Boughton of Valdosta, sons and daughters in law, Jerome and Gay Oglesby, Ronnie and Sandra Oglesby of Hahira, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Ola and Webster Johnson of Hahira, Eva Mae and Lyn Clendaniels of Jacksonville, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Smith Oglesby.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Martin/McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Roscoe Bennett and Mr. Webster Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery.
