Bonnie Jean Felkel

Bonnie Jean Hodges Felkel, 78, of Valdosta died on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at her home. She was born in Valdosta on March 24, 1941 to the late Foy Elbert and Annie Mae Hesters Hodges and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. Mrs. Felkel was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Felkel enjoyed caring for others and attending sporting events.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Rodger and Sherri Felkel, Matt and Jana Felkel all of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Bradley Felkel, Bryan (Mia) Felkel, Brooke Felkel; great grandchild, Brayden Felkel; her brother and sister in law, David and Dale Hodges of Valdosta; her best friends, Joyce Register and Elaine Welch. She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Felkel.
A private graveside services will be held on Tuesday at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Austin Wynn officiating.
