Bobby Joe Lolley

Bobby Joe Lolley, Sr., 75, of Valdosta died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at his home. He was born on December 28, 1941 in Florala, Alabama to the late Joseph and Melissa Lolley and had lived in Valdosta for many years. He was a member of Dasher Church of Christ and retired from Owens Illinois Paper Mill. Mr. Lolley loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a talented artist, enjoyed woodworking and leather making.
Survivors include his wife, Leonia Lolley of Valdosta; a son and two daughters in law, Bobby Joe Lolley, Jr. and Jane Warren of Tallahassee, FL, Michelle Lolley of Chandler, OK; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Spencer) Webb of Panama City, FL, Bobby Joe Lolley, III, Morgan Lolley both of Tallahassee, FL, Nikki (Ben) Chew of Chandler, OK, Chelsea (Christian) Calvillo of Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Webb, Teagan Webb, Nolan Webb, Gabe Chew, Eli Chew, Isla Grace Calvillo, Olivia Calvillo; two sisters, Betty Pickron of Florala, AL, Martha Moore of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Dewayn Lolley and a grandson, Benjamin Lolley.
Memorial services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Dasher Church of Christ with Mr. David Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Demar Elam Missions (Open Door Ministries).
