Bobby Hale Armstrong, 81, of Lake Park died Monday, April 20, 2015. He was born on February 22, 1934 in Bellamy, Alabama to the late Bill and Lillian Walker Armstrong. He was a loyal and faithful member of the Twin Lakes Presbyterian Church and served four years in the United States Air Force. Mr. Armstrong worked for PCA Clyattville for fifty one years in the Woodlands Division. He had a great love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Mr. Armstrong was a devoted family man who was very proud of his sons and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of fifty eight years, Jane Armstrong of Lake Park, two sons and a daughter in law, Bobby Hale Armstrong, Jr. and John Walter and Lisa Armstrong; two grandchildren, Walt Armstrong and Emily Armstrong all of Savannah, GA; his nephews, David Randall Armstrong and family, the late Billy Gene Armstrong, Jr. and his family; sister in law, June Collins of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lillian Armstrong and a brother, Billy Gene Armstrong.
Memorial services will be held at 11am, Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Twin Lakes Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Akers and Rev. Richard Soper officiating.
