Billy Shiver

Billy Shiver, 74, of Hahira died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Holly Hill Nursing Home. He was born in Valdosta on May 27, 1940, he was the son of the late Zeno Shiver and Rosa Lee Hembree Shiver Watley. Mr. Shiver was a veteran of the United States Army and loved people.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, William Clark and Amy Shiver of Thomasville, grandchildren, Brianna Audrey Shiver of Greenfield, Ohio, Amanda Rooks and Derek Rooks both of Tallahassee, FL and two brothers and a sister in law, J. M. (Buck) Watley of Nashville, GA and Jimmy and Sandra Watley of Valdosta, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, William Charles Shiver and Matthew Logan Shiver and a sister, Gloria Shiver Plymel.
Graveside services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Campground Cemetery in Morven with Mr. David Nelson officiating.
