Beulah O. Smith

Beulah O. Smith, 95, of Valdosta, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on January 28, 1915 in Jacksonville, FL to the late James and Mary Fleming Overstreet. She lived in Miami, FL for thirty five years where she worked at a pressing company. Mrs. Smith was a high school graduate, attended Bethune-Cookman College, was a homemaker, a seamstress and a member of Morningside Baptist Church and has lived in Valdosta since 1981.

She was saved and baptized when she was fifteen years old. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Smith on May 19, 2001. She is so thankful to all of her precious sisters and brothers in Christ who helped take care of her.

Funeral services will be held at eleven a. m. Monday, May 31, 2010 at Morningside Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
