Bettye June Holland

Bettye June Bass Holland, 88, of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on May 15, 1934 in Valdosta to the late Luther Otis Bass and Sarah Willene Bramlett Bass. Mrs. Holland was secretary at Valdosta Jr. High School and Valdosta High School. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
Mrs. Holland is survived by her two sons and daughter in law, Jeff and Dabney Holland of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl and Tim Holland of Valdosta, grandchildren, Hidi Moody, Tori Hutsell (Sam), Matt Holland (Jenny), Sara Claydon (Marc), Anthony Tong, Sr. and Christopher Taylor, great grandchildren, Christopher, Ella Grace, Holland, Justice (Jac), Skylee, Max, Lily, Zeke, River, Willow, Anthony, Jr., and Yannie Hunter, brother and sister in law, Luther Otis Bass, Jr. and Monnie Bass.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frederick John Holland (who passed away on December 27, 2002) and daughters in law, Sharon and Debbie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at four p. m. at Fellowship Home, 470 Fellowship Home Road, Valdosta, GA.
