Betty Odom Watson, 82, of Hahira died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on February 17, 1935 in Cook County, GA to the late George Odom and Molly Moore Odom. Mrs. Watson was a Seamstress, a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and the Hahira Historical Society.
She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Mike and Kathy Watson and Allen and Faye Watson, all of Hahira, grandchildren, Mary Folsom, Paul Folsom (April), Alisa Watson (Ron), Kaitlyn Watson (Ted), Heather Smock (Justin), Scott Watson and Summer Watson, great grandchildren, Jacie Folsom, Macie Folsom, Saylor Meeler, Gabe Carlo, Reed Watson, Breanna Watson, Dakota Garcia, Baby Jack Wilson, Logan Folsom, McKenna Folsom and Blake Folsom. Mrs. Watson is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Watson, daughter, Jackie Folsom and great grandson, Austin Watson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Russ Elkins officiating. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery near Morven. The family will receive friends from one until two p. m. Saturday at the funeral home.
