Betty Louise Lawell

Betty Louise Lawell, 82, of Sparks, died Friday, February 20, 2009 at Smith Northview Hospital in Valdosta. She was born in Armstrong County, PA on May 1, 1926 to the late Jeff E. and Margaret Hileman Bish. Mrs. Lawell was a self employed real estate agent and a member of Sparks Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Gary Lawell of Sparks and Richard Lawell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, two granddaughters, Amber Lawell and Courtney Lawell, one grandson, Anthony Lawell, six sisters, Maxine Heiger of Transfer, PA, Shirley Steele of Hershey, PA, Janet Skelton of White Springs, FL, Helen Nicholl of Monroe, MI, Delores Veasey of Andalusia, AL and Charlotte Uchiyama of Pembroke Pines, FL. Mrs. Lawell is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lee Lawell, one son, Jerry Lawell and three brothers, Richard, Vern and Kenneth Bish.

Mrs. Lawell requested to be cremated and her cremains will be buried in Michigan Memorial Cemetery in New Boston, MI.
