Betty Jo Copeland Wisenbaker

Betty Jo Wisenbaker, 83, born September 9, 1930, passed from this world on June 19, 2014, after several years of battling various illnesses. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Donald Wisenbaker of Valdosta; one sister, Charlotte Hartline, of Albany, GA; one son and daughter in law, Donnie & Jamie Wisenbaker of Valdosta; and one daughter and son in-law Melissa and Ron Passmore of Columbus, GA; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Those who knew Mrs. Betty Jo will remember that she loved growing flowers, going to the mountains in the fall, and keeping her house spotlessly clean. She was also an excellent cook, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

A funeral for Mrs. Betty will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Dasher Church of Christ. Mr. David Nelson will officiate. A private graveside committal will follow at Dasher Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Carson McLane Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, P.O.
