Betty H. Landrum

Betty H. Landrum, 86, of Valdosta died Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Heritage House Nursing Home. She was born in Lowndes County on July 31, 1928 to the late James Roland Hammock and Susan Dessie Hughes Hammock. Mrs. Landrum was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. She loved working in the yard and her flowers. She enjoyed having all of her family together and cooking for them.
Survivors include two daughters and a son in law, Judy DeLoach of Valdosta, Kay and Al Cannaday of Greenville, SC; son and daughter in law, Robert "Buster" and Cindy Lewis of Valdosta; her grandchildren and their spouses, Teresa and Robert Hudson, Kathy and Chad Bennett all of Valdosta, Todd and Dana Layton, Keri and Ryan Coleman all of Greenville, SC, Neal Lewis of Charlotte, NC, Jay Hollingsworth of Sardis, GA; 7-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son in law, Wallace DeLoach, five brothers and six sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Monday, July 6, 2015 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Rev. Roger Mayes officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
