Beth Latourette

Beth Latourette, 55, of Ray City, died on Monday, October 24, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on March 24, 1961 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and has been a resident of this area since 1981. She was an Assistant Manager with the Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) at Moody Air Force Base. Beth was known for her outgoing and spunky nature and loved to be outdoors as much as she possibly could. Gardening and yard work appealed to her love of nature and gave her an outlet for her boundless energy.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Latourette of Ray City; her daughter, Amanda Dowd also of Ray City; her son, Scott Dowd of Oregon; her mother, Betty Cherry of Ray City; grandchildren, Aiden Dowd and Ryan Dowd of Oregon; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert and Joanne McKinnon of McDonough, Georgia, Roy McKinnon of Columbus, Georgia and Patrick McKinnon of Phoenix City, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert S. Cherry.
