Bert Jerry Birbiglia

Bert (Jerry) Birbiglia, Jr., 45, of Hahira, died Friday, June 17, 2005 at South GA Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on November 18, 1959 in Bronx, NY to the late Bertram Jerome Birbiglia, Sr. and Betty J. Martin Birbiglia. Mr. Birbiglia was a cardiac perfusionist at South GA Medical Center and was a Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Birbiglia, one daughter, Gabrielle Birbiglia, his mother, Betty J. Birbiglia all of Hahira, two sisters and brothers in law, Bari and Creighton Hill of Mesa, AZ, Gloria and Chino Nair of Yonkers, NY, parents in law, Richard and Margaret Grenville of Whiting, NJ, two sisters in law and their spouses, Colleen and Louis Leo of Wappinger Falls, NY, Deirdre and Alan DeMasi of Riverdale, NY, two nieces, Deirdre Leo and Kira Birbiglia, two nephews, George Leo and Gavin Nair. Mr. Birbiglia is preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2005 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Schappaugh officiating.
