Bernice Elizabeth Faucett

Bernice Elizabeth Faucett, 81, of Hahira, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 11, 2006. She was born on September 24, 1924 in West Orange, NJ to the late James Claude and Stasia Moser Engler. Mrs. Faucett was employed at Publix Pharmacy in Valdosta for six years where she made many friends and acquaintances too numerous to mention. Her kindness and spirit touched everyone and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Barry and Sandi Graner of Hahira, one granddaughter and her husband, Christina and Richard Porter of Naples, FL, one grandson, James Leannais of Sunrise, FL, one great granddaughter, “The light of her life” Ciera D. Porter of Naples, FL, beloved friend, Betty Martin, special K-9 companion, “Kirby” and very special friends, Laura and T. C. Cooper, Rebecca Daniels, Pernellia Alderman and family, Myra and Rodney Cross and Amy Day.

A memorial service was held at three p. m. Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Reverend Jerry Warren officiated as well as others giving testimony of her kindness, generosity, advise and friendship. Pernellia Alderman sang “Amazing Grace”.
