Benjamin Elijah Garcia

Benjamin Elijah Garcia, 26, of Valdosta passed into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on October 31, 1990 in Kennesaw, Georgia and had lived in Valdosta for several years. Ben was a member of the Lake Park United Methodist Church where he served as Worship Leader and a Youth Mentor. He was a graduate of Valdosta State University and an IT Application Analyst with Client Tell. Ben enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Shayla Garcia of Valdosta; his parents, Cesar and Rebecca Garcia of Conyers, GA; two brothers and a sister in law, Nathan Garcia of Tokyo, Japan, Jared and Madeline Garcia of Athens, GA; his sister, Linda Garcia of Conyers, GA; his parents in law, Mike and Ann Samaras of Valdosta; two sisters in law and brothers in law, Ashlie and Ryan McWaters of Hahira, Taylor and Aaron Nix of Beaufort, SC; his brother in law, Michael Samaras of Valdosta; his godson, Gavin Hinson of Valdosta.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Lake Park United Methodist Church with Rev. Isaac Salgado officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:30pm-3:30pm at the Lake Park United Methodist Church.
