Barbara Taylor Martin

Barbara Taylor Martin, 80, of Hahira died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Fellowship Home in Nashville. She was born in Brooks County, Georgia on January 21, 1941 to the late John Gordon and Malzie Stanley Taylor and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Martin was a Baptist and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and working in her yards.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas V. Martin, Sr. of Hahira; her son and daughter in law, Tommy and Teresa Martin of Hahira; her grandchildren, Jamie (Susan) Martin, Amanda (Judson) Moore, Jessica (Timothy) Barden, Tia (Adam) Zanghi; her great grandchildren, Makaylie Barden, Madison Martin, Ryder Barden, Jace Martin, Kennedy Martin, Jordan Martin, Mataya Zanghi, Aubree Zanghi, Adam Zanghi, Jr.; her brother, Frank Taylor of Charlotte, NC; her sister, Birdie Dees of Adel. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Gordon Martin, her sisters, Pauline Nichols and Melba Williams and two brothers, Joel Taylor and Sonny Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Thursday, March 11, 2021 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Bussey officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery near Cecil. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home.
