Barbara Mcdowell Morrow

Barbara McDowell Morrow, 84, of Valdosta died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on July 30, 1931 in Hahira to the late Osborne S. and Sarah Forte Hall. Mrs. Morrow was a Methodist and retired from SAFT. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and working in her flowers.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Mike and Sherry McDowell of Lake Park, Van and Terri McDowell of Valdosta, Scott McDowell of Adel, Darlene and Robby Johnson of Hahira; grandchildren, Broc and Dana McDowell, Kevin and Kayla McDowell, Matt McDowell, Taylor McDowell, Garrett McDowell, Ty McDowell, Zane McDowell, Dillon Johnson, Devin Johnson and C. J. Adams; great grandson, Fischer Adams; brother and sister in law, Joe and Ethel Hall of Sebring, FL; her stepchildren, Melvin McDowell of South Carolina, Donald McDowell, Debbie Principe both of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin G. (Mac) McDowell and Thomas C. Morrow and a daughter in law, Stacey McDowell.
Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
