Barbara F. Schleusner

Barbara F. Schleusner, 68, of Valdosta died on Monday, July 19, 2010 at her residence following a short illness. She was born on April 2, 1942 in Pocahontas, Virginia to the late Thomas and Lana Honaker French. She has been a resident of Valdosta since 1985 and retired from the South Georgia Medical Center where she served as head of the Histology Lab. She was of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, John W. Schleusner of Valdosta; a daughter, Ashley Schleusner of Ft. Myers, FL.; a son and daughter-in-law, John W. Jr., and Sonja Schleusner of Savannah; a grandson, John W. Schleusner III of Valdosta; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas A. and Gloria French of Pocahontas, VA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Freda and Jerry Vogle of Panama, Oklahoma and Donola and B.V. Nininger of Elon, N.C.
