Barbara (Bobbie Sue) Miller

Barbara (Bobbie Sue) Miller, 60, of Valdosta, died on Monday, October 22, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on January 29, 1958 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Robert and Barbara Cadle Miller. She was a graduate of West Virginia University and was a retired registered nurse with South Georgia Medical Center. She worked on the pediatric floor at the hospital as well as youth care. She was also an instructor for PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). She was an active member of New Harvest United Methodist Church and volunteered extensively with the Methodist Children’s Home.
She is survived by two nephews and their spouses, Reece and Jacqueline Yarbrough of Coolidge, Georgia, and Ryan and Aleshia Yarbrough of Lexington, Kentucky; her step-mother, Sue Miller of West Virginia; two great-nieces, Madeline and Paisley Yarbrough. She was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Dawn Yarbrough. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to Raychel Carey and all of Barbara’s friends from New Harvest United Methodist Church who helped and assisted her throughout the past several years.
