B. I. Davis, Jr.

B. I. DAVIS, JR., 67, of Lake Park died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at home. He was born on June 27, 1939 in Lowndes County to the late B. I., Sr. and Marie Zipperer Davis and was a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. Mr. Davis owned and operated Davis Auto Parts and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a charter member of the Clyattville Baptist Church. Mr. Davis enjoyed people and loved children.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Davis of Lake Park, one daughter and son in law, Tippy and William Southall of Valdosta, four cousins, Marilyn Nichols, Al Zipperer, Ken Norsworthy all of Florida and Karen Hunter of Valdosta, sister in law and brother in law, Betty Jan and Jeffrey Pepper of Ray City, brother in law and sister in law, Johnny and Donna Crosby of Madison, Fla.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 8, 2006 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jesse Ogden officiating.
