Averie Reynolds Bryan Luke

Averie Reynolds Bryan Luke, 81, of Lake Park died Friday, February 19, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on March 12, 1934 in Moniac, Georgia to the late Lemmie and Donnie Reynolds and had lived in Lowndes County for many years. Mrs. Luke was a member of the Lake Park First Baptist Church and owned and operated Averie's Beauty Shop for many years. She loved spending time and laughing with her sisters. Mrs. Luke enjoyed serving and helping others.
Survivors include her husband, Charles V. Luke of Lake Park; son and daughter in law, C. Duane and Vickie Bryan of Naples, FL; daughter and son in law, Tami and Mark Nichols of Dixie, GA; daughter in law, Sharon Bryan of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Chris and Julia Bryan, Jessica and Conard Wrightsman, Adam and Rebecca Bryan, Landon Bryan, Hunter Lewis, Autumn Lewis; 8-great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother in law, Charlean Brinson of Jacksonville, FL, Applean and Millard Brown of Starke, FL; her bonus children, Stanley and Martha Luke of Nashville, GA, Teresa and Tommy Parkerson of Lake Park, Stephanie and Ben Harrison, Cindy and David Harrison all of Valdosta, Tim and Holly Luke, Lyniece and Michael Thorpe all of Lake Park, Jana and Jeff Abbott of Dasher and Chuck Luke of Savannah, GA.; many bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Nathan Bryan and a son, Mark Phillip Bryan.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Lake Park First Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Luke and Rev. Robert Dawson officiating.
