Ava Nell Becton

Ava Nell Brown Becton, 86, of Hahira, died on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Valdosta on August 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James Arthur and Alma Downing Brown. Mrs. Becton was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, James Franklin Fletcher of Valdosta; two daughters, Vickie Elaine Coleman of Hahira, Bonnie Lynn Jones and her husband Walter Jones of Valdosta; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Sue Fletcher of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Frances Moseley, and two sisters, Katherine Crawford and Clairece Arnold.
