Aurora Linn

Aurora Linn, 54, of Valdosta, died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on April 29, 1959 in Cebu City, Philippines, to the late Tomas Olarte and Monica Arnejo Olarte. Mrs. Linn was a member of St John the Evangelist Catholic Church and employed by the Valdosta City School System.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Linn of Valdosta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Alejandrio Marquez of Valdosta; Melissa and Anthony Anderson of San Antonio, TX; also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Collin Anderson, Celeste Wetherington, Joe Wetherington, Stella Marquez, Alejandro Marquez, Jr. and Ana-Aurora Marquez all of Valdosta.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, with Father Chris Ortega officiating. Interment will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday evening at the funeral home during the hours of 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
