Arlene E. Hay, 92, of Valdosta died Monday, May 16, 2016 at Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born in Allentown, PA on August 5, 1923 to the late William Skinner and Bertha Rienhart Skinner. Mrs. Hay was a retired Pentecostal minister.
She is survived by four daughters and three sons in law, Asceneth and James Tichinel of Lake Park, Connie Sue Powell of Valdosta, Verda and Lloyd Brannon of Mentor, OH, Renee and Joseph Muscarella of Quitman, two sons and daughters in law, Wilbur and Patricia Hay of Stow, OH and Herbert and Betty Hay of Valdosta, twenty three grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mrs. Hay is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, LeRoy Albert Hay, grandson, Anthony Muscarella, two sisters and her son in law, James Dennis Powell.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at two p. m. in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Cotterill officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from one p.m. until two p.m. prior to the service. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
