Arleen Patterson Ritchie

ARLEEN PATTERSON RITCHIE, 91, of Hahira died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at the Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born on January 17, 1915 in Volusia County, Florida to the late George and Dora Brown Patterson and had lived in Hahira for more than seventy years. Mrs. Ritchie was a member of the Morven Church of God.

Survivors include three daughters, Margie Hardee of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Dorothy Fay Morro and Patricia L. Vanatta both of Hahira, two sons, Charles Alvin Ritchie and James Howard Ritchie both of Hahira, 18-grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, one sister, Doris Stalvey of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ritchie, one daughter, Rebecca Bowman, three sons, George Ritchie, Teddy Ritchie and Frankie E. Lee Ritchie and a grandson, Jim Ritchie.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, December 3, 2006 at the Morven Church of God with Pastor Levy Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Morven Church of God, P. O. Box 27, Morven, GA 31638. Mrs. Ritchie cremains will be intered in Friendship Cemetery.
