Anthony Byrns Williams

Anthony Byrns Williams, Sr. 80 or Valdosta passed away Friday December 25, 2020 at his daughter’s residence following several years of declining health. He was born on February 2, 1940 in Nashville, TN, To the late Raymond and Mildred Williams. Mr. Williams retired as a service manager for Gordon Ford Tractor Company.
He is survived by his daughter, Windy Scott (Craig) of Valdosta, son Tony Williams Jr. (Becky) or Lake City FL: four grandchildren; Daryl Ragsdale (Rebecca); Amanda Dow (Lawrence); Jonathan Jordan (Jennifer); Cindy Dansby (Justin); ten greatgrandchildren; Mia Dow; Wesley Ragsdale; Rylan Ragsdale; Caleb Stripling; Jacob Stripling; Avery Stripling; Riley Altobello; Luke Jordan; Hunter Jordan; and Anna Dansby. Also surviving are two sisters, Millie O’Steen; Norma Williams (Jim); brother Donnie Williams (Maxine). He was predeceased by his wife, Salleyann Williams, and a brother Ray Williams Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Pastor Dale Dansby officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 pm in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery in McAlpin, FL. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, P.O.
