Virginia Kellerman, 86, of Valdosta, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Holly Hill Nursing Home. She was born on June 29, 1923 in Berrien County, GA to the late Lonnie Boswell and Myrtle Ratliff Lane. Mrs. Kellerman was a homemaker and a member of Morningside Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with her flowers, raising her children, studying her bible and she was a prayer warrior.
Mrs. Kellerman is survived by six children and their spouses, Cheryl and Jim Wheeler of Hahira, Sandra and Jim Miller of Princeton, WVA, Carole V. Kellerman of Valdosta, Sheila and James Mullis of Princeton, WVA, Lonnie and DeeDee Kellerman of St. Augustine, FL, Annette and David Fender of Valdosta, twelve grandchildren and their spouses, James Kenneth and Michelle Wheeler, Mark Christopher and Bambi Wheeler, Debra and Steve Hendricks, Diane and Jerry Stewart, Kelie and Chris Smith, Braham and Shannon Kellerman, Kyle Kellerman, Mary Elizabeth Kellerman, Jacob Kellerman, Lauren Kellerman, Matt Fender and Chad Fender, twelve great grandchildren, one sister, Jeanette Minke of Tuscon, AZ, several loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Abraham (AL) Kellerman, her son, Barry Kellerman, her brother, Lowell Lane and her half brother, Ronnie Oliver.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, November 27, 2009 at two p. m. at Cat Creek Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Robertson officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from seven until nine p. m. Thursday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
