Annie Lee Nolan Garrett

Annie Lee Nolan Garrett, 93, of Valdosta, died Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland, GA. She was born on December 12, 1911 in Atkinson County, GA to the late Charles B. and Liza Jane Metts Nolan. Mrs. Nolan was a Sales Clerk, a member of the Catholic faith, member of Golden Ages and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters, Annie Myrl Metts of Hilliard, FL, Myra Louise Guarino of Valdosta, three sons, James Garrett of Ft. Myers, FL, William Roy Garrett and Johnny M. Garrett of Valdosta, 27 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Garret is predeceased by her husband, Roy Garrett and two sons, Gerald Patrick Garrett and Raymond Charles Garrett.

A rosary service will be said at 7 p. m. Monday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 9 p. m. A funeral mass will be held at 12:10 p. m. Tuesday at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Father John O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Tsunami relief effort through St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church.
