Annie Laurie Webb (Grandma Mc) Mcgrogan

Annie Laurie Webb McGrogan (Grandma Mc), of Valdosta, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully after a long illness at her daughter's home in Covington, Louisiana, surrounded by her family. Annie, a Catholic, was 76.

Annie was born in Valdosta Georgia and graduated from Valdosta High School. After graduating Valdosta High, Annie studied and became a dietitian supervisor at South Georgia Medical Center. Annie retired from South Georgia Medical Center in 1984 after a long employment of 35 years. Annie's devotion to home and family is beyond reverence.

Annie is the daughter of the late Charlie and Effie Webb. Annie is the beloved wife of the late Patrick E. McGrogan and mother of Patrick S. McGrogan and Laura M. Tomberlin. Annie has one son-in-law, Roger L. Tomberlin. Annie is survived by her Granddaughter, Mariann Tomberlin; Grandsons: Roger L. (Bubba) Tomberlin, Patrick Tomberlin, and Derrick Tomberlin; Sister, Ethel Webb Snow; Niece, Sandy Danowski;
Nephews: Bill's Starling, A.C. Starling, Charles Starling, Lee Starling, and Steve McPhaul.

Annie's wake will be held at Carson McLane Funeral Home on December 16, 2007 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A memorial service will be held on December 17, 2007 at 4 p.m. to follow with a graveside service at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
