Annie Laura Folsom

Annie Laura Folsom, 84, of Hahira, died Monday, July 18, 2005 at Heritage House Nursing Home. She was born on September 9, 1920 in Decatur County, GA to the late Bryant and Mary Jane Mimbs Strickland. Mrs. Folsom was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Jan and John Anderson of Valdosta, Linda and Jim Fiveash of Hahira, three sons and daughters in law, John B. and Cathy Folsom of Valdosta, Ronnie and Charlotte Folsom of Cartersville, GA and Donnie and Linda Folsom of Valdosta, nine grandchildren, Lee Anderson, Mae Anderson, Billie Anderson, Jimmy Fiveash, Chance Fiveash, Christy Allen, Amy Shaw, Steve Folsom and Stacy Folsom, eight great grandchildren, Ashley Shaw, Amber Shaw, Anna Allen, Dawson Allen, Levi Allen, Garrett Folsom, Kendall Folsom and Trenntt Folsom, two brothers, Ralph Strickland of Thomasville, Clarence Strickland of Valdosta and one sister, Hilda Tabor of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Folsom.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at three p. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Wade Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
