Annie Bell Wilkinson

ANNIE BELL WILKINSON, 107, of Orlando, Florida and formerly Lowndes County and Brooks County died Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the Island Lake Center in Longwood, Florida. She was born in Berrien County on September 29, 1898 to the late Daniel J. and Mary E. McCranie Colter and had lived in the Orlando area for many years. She was a former member of the Northside Baptist Church in Quitman.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Ardith and Eual J. Smith of Longwood, Fla., two sons and daughters in law, Kenneth E. and Barbara Wilkinson of Dixie, William Jack “W. J.” and Marceline Wilkinson of Pelham, Ala., 8-grandchildren, 16-great grandchildren, 16-great great grandchildren and 1-great great great grandchild, two brothers and sisters in law, Roy and Norma Colter of Rural Hall, NC. and D. J. and Beulah Colter of Winston-Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Wilkinson and a son, Vernon Wilkinson.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, December 28, 2005 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Justice officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Cecil. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
