Anne Snellgrove “Little Mama” Lineberger, 84, died on Friday, October 1, 2021, at her home on Lineberger Road. Born in Adel to the late Walter Mallie & Ruby King Snellgrove, she had been a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Lineberger graduated from Valdosta High School in 1955 where she played basketball and tennis for the Lady Cats. During high school, Anne started dating Walton Lineberger, and they were married on June 3, 1955, the day after graduation and spent the next 64 years together. She worked as a bookkeeper for Carl Sessions Accounting nearly twenty years and received her tax certification while working there. She then went to work with Jackie Stalvey Accounting in Hahira. She continued working there until her retirement in the early 1990’s. Mrs. Lineberger continued to work private accounts from her home for years, but her world centered around her children and grandchildren. Spending time walking in her yard and working around the farm with her family was her favorite pastime. She also enjoyed canning vegetables and going with her church group to the mountains. She taught children’s Sunday School for years and was a dedicated member of Lake Park Church of Christ. Mrs. Lineberger was known for being a faithful, devoted Christian lady and spreading her genuine love through her kindness, sweet spirit, and serving others.
