Anne Laurie Moore Gunter

Anne Laurie Moore Gunter, 89, of Valdosta, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on September 11, 1930 in Valdosta to the late Philip Moore and Alma Cowart Moore. Mrs. Gunter was a retired school teacher and a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters and son in law, Laurie Gunter of Townsend, TN, Mary Beam (Tom) of Denton, NC, granddaughters and husbands, Mary Kate Beam (Troy Dang) and Anna Brown Beam (Joey Mitchell), grandson, John William Beam and sister, Iris Poole of Valdosta. Mrs. Gunter is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Reverend James Weyman Gunter and her sister, Laverne Huda.
A private family service will be held with Reverend Mac Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
