Anne Elizabeth Cole Fowler

Anne Elizabeth Cole Fowler, 65, of Panama City, Florida and formerly of Hahira died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Agape Healthcare and Rehab in Moultrie. She was born on February 11, 1950 in Hahira to the late Jack and Peggy Griffin Cole. Mrs. Fowler had lived in Panama City, Florida for the past several years where she attended the St. Andrews Baptist Church and a member of the Panama City Garden Club. She graduated from Lowndes High School in 1968 and a graduate of Clayton County Junior College and Troy State University. She had been employed with Civil Service, the National Guard. Mrs. Fowler also had been employed with the State of Georgia and the State of Florida. She loved gardening, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include her siblings and their spouses, Jackie and Donna Cole of Quitman, Melba Sue Cole of Hahira, Mary Jane and Rick Burgess of Moultrie, Jim Cole of Hahira, Mickey and Bill Cason of White Springs, FL; nieces and nephews, Missy Cole LeFiles, Jim Wheeler, Rikko Jimenez, Jon Wheeler, Kelly Cole Young, Rocky Jimenez, Montana Davis, Julie Cowart, Mackenzie Cole; several great nieces and great nephews; an aunt, Kitty Cole Agner of Lee, FL and her special cat, Mommy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey W. (Butch) Fowler.
Memorial services will be held at 11am, Friday, April 24, 2015 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Hahira.
