Anna Rebecca Brown

Anna Rebecca Brown, 68, of Lake Park, died Thursday, February 11, 2010. Becky, as all of her dear friends and family called her, was gently taken home to live with her Lord. Her gracious smile and loving embrace will always be a treasured memory by those who knew her. She had an exuberance for life and a deep fondness for all that God created. Becky, tenderly cared for her loving mother, Anna Jensen Brown, after the death of Becky's father, Billy Brown. The Brown family lived in Tampa for many years. There, Becky graduated from Hillsborough High School and completed her Art degree at Florida State University. She taught junior high school in Tampa, before moving to Lake Park with her Mother in 1989.

Becky had many aunts, uncles and cousins, who loved her dearly through the years. Judy Jensen McMullen (a cousin in relation but a dear sister in heart) and her husband JC McMullen have been deeply devoted to the loving care of Becky during her years of illness. Each friend, family member, doctor, and nurse have always held an extra special place in the heart of Becky for the kind and gracious ways in which they have loved and cared for her in her times of need.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Becky's life on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at The McMullen Chapel at 6125 Old Lake Park Road in Lake Park.
