Anna Margaret Brown

Anna Margaret Brown, 86, of Valdosta died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Heritage House Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 6, 1923 in Valdosta to the late R. V. and Lillie Baucom Brown and was a lifelong resident of the area. Ms. Brown was a member of Airport Church of Christ and the owner of Brown Bookkeeping and Tax Service.

Survivors include four sisters and two brothers in law, Irene Brown, Inez Lott, Ruth and Elwood Starling, Frances and Floyd Draper; sister-in-law, Catherine Brown all of Valdosta, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Julian Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Friday, October 9, 2009 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Bryan Jarvis officiating. Burial will follow in the Copeland Cemetery.
