Angela Rae Ross

Angela Rae Ross, 46, of Hahira died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 7, 1968 and lived in Athens, Ohio for many years. She moved to Hahira in 1997 and was a registered nurse at South Georgia Medical Center in the nursery. Mrs. Ross volunteered with Jacobs Ladder Therapeutic Riding Center and Special Olympics. She was a compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and nurse. She enjoyed nature and riding horses. Mrs. Ross enjoyed photographing babies and children.

Survivors include her husband, David A. Ross, two daughters, Amittie Dawn Ross and her fiance, Brandon Powers, Brianna Danielle Ross, a granddaughter, Kennedi Rae Powers all of Hahira, her parents, Russell and Anna Tenney, sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Barry Bobo, nephews, Barry Bobo, Jr., Brody Bobo all of Athens, Ohio, her niece, Samantha Brooks of Oakhill, Ohio, special cousin, Melissa Walls, her father in law, William Ross, brothers in law and sisters in law, William Ross, Jr., Jana Ross, Jessie and Pat Bails, Lori and Jim Downard all of Athens, Ohio, her dog, Millie and her horse, Sweet Pea, several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hugh and Mae Rupe, Glenn Tenney, Jr. and Hazel Sanders, her mother in law, Judith Ross, sister in law, Lynn Ross.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Monday, April 28, 2014 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hauser officiating. Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
